DARU'L-HIKMAH
LIBRARY
Daru'l-Hikmah library was established by the
center as part of its effort to complement the capacity building for
intellectual and scientific research, studies and comparative analysis
in trying to harmonize the various views and concepts of the different
schools of thought and sects especially Sunni and Shi'ah. With the
resources available in this library, interested Muslim scholars and
researchers would be able to browse through these vast volumes of
scholastic books written by eminent scholars of the Sunni and Shi'ah
schools, thus enabling them to understand each school's point of view
and concept especially in theological and jurisprudential matters. It is
clearly known of course that that there is no disagreement in terms of
the principles of faith which stand to be the bedrock of the Islamic
faith. Therefore, with a more cordial intellectual approach among
Islamic scholars in reaching an understanding, with no doubt, the
possibility to accept and tolerate each other's views and concepts is
clear manifestation and eventually a platform to foster harmony and
unity among Muslims will be achievable the near future.
